Kite manager/ head receptionist
We are looking for a manager/ head receptionist for our kite center and kite team.
You will part of a nice team, helping growing and organize our operations. We are looking for a long term based person to stay here in Gouna with us, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting, welcoming and guest registration at entrance
- Does a center tour and spot introduction
- Informs and advises guests of all products and services by answering or referring inquiries.
- Manages a small team of receptionists, shifts and holiday planing of staff.
- Controls customer accounts, open bills and controls payments.
- Coordinates with customers and instructors the course schedules.
- Coordinates the airport transfers with transfer provider.
- Ensures phone availability, from 08:30 – 19:00
- Back office tasks, contacts customers by phone or email, follow up cases.
- Keeps organization of shop, clothes, displays and organizes sales, inventory and stocks reorder to supplier.
- Calculate instructor commissions and follow up with accounting department.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area.
- Follow up procedures, rules and regulations and coordinates with the other departments. Open and closes the reception.
- Contributes to offer the makani vibes and enforces a team player ambience
Your profile :
- You have good telephone and verbal communication skills.
- You are a motivated and pro active personality.
- You are an office organized person.
- You can handle pressure on rush hours.
- You feel comfortable welcoming and hosting guests.
- You know how to organize schedules for team and guests.
- You are reliable, responsible, business oriented and team player.
- You are a kitesurfer or have a special interest in this sport and want to become one.
- You speak and write fluently in English and German. Other languages are an asset.

German speaking Kitesurf and/or Wingfoil Instructor
We are looking for motivated kitesurf and wingfoil instructors to join our teacher team starting from mid march.
Your main focus will be to teach kitesurfing and/or wingfoil under VDWS quality standarts for individuals (1 to 1 teaching) and group lessons up to 4 people per group, from beginners to advanced levels.
You will help in all kite related areas, organizing the courses, taking care of the equipment,
Requirements
- You love kitesurfing, wingfoiling and watersports in general, and want to teach this wonderful sport.
- You are a VDWS / IKO licensed instructor.
- You are reliable and a teamplayer.
- You are proactive and want to help also in other areas on rush hours (shop, reception, beach, Bar, depending on interests)
- Help out in the weekly barbecues and evening activities.
- You speak fluently english and german. Other languages are welcome.
Season:
- Starting from mid March until end of October. Minimum 3 months, preferably all season (End october)
